  • Creation of a paved pedestrian walkway from 89th to 90th at the end of 17th Ave. NW.
  • Worked with SDOT and King County Metro to restructure the intersection at 8th and 100th to create a 4-way stop, add new sidewalks, and install a rain garden water retention system.
  • Board members have represented Crown Hill at the Ballard District Council in selecting priority areas for sidewalks north of 85th Street, including on 13th between 90th and Holman and on 90th from 13th to 14th.
  • As a major partner with the Crown Hill Project, secured the Crown Hill School site for the community, now called the Crown Hill Center. The Center is home for several arts organizations and serves the community with gym space and meeting rooms.
  • Worked with the community to design the new Crown Hill Park in conjunction with the Seattle Parks Department. This park celebrated its grand opening on May 19, 2012.
