- My wife and I moved to Crown Hill in February of 2008. We actually moved onto the same block that my wife’s dad grew up on. So we are the third generation in her family to live on the same block in Crown Hill. Previoulsy we had lived in Mountlake Terrace, Ballard, Bellevue, Queen Anne and Spokane. I think that we are HOME now!
- We’ve lived here for 8 years. Before Crown Hill we lived in Sunset Hill for 2 years, Ravenna for 6, and Fremont and Wallingford each for a couple of years.
- I have actually lived here all my life. My parents lived in this house in the 1940s and it is where I grew up. Then I went away to school, marriage, and business – and life in general as a grownup. BUT, I have just recently moved back to this same house I grew up in after living in Maryland for the past 26 years. So I have come full circle! So I have been a Crown Hill person for 60+ years!
- We have lived here for about four years now, and we lived in Ravenna before moving here.
- We moved into our house in Crown Hill last September (2008). Prior to that, we lived Alexandria, Virginia
- 5 years, formerly lower phinney ridge
- 3 years, moved here from downtown Ballard
- Almost 5 years. Washington DC, then a year in Sunset Hill, then Crown Hill
- 8 years. Since moving to Seattle from the Skagit Valley in 97, I’ve migrated northwest from the U-District, first to Phinney Ridge before coming to Crown Hill.
- 3 years. I was renting an apartment in downtown Ballard and bought a house in Crown Hill
- Lived here 2.5 years. Came from Salem Oregon
- I’ve lived in Crown Hill for a little over 15 years. I moved into my husband’s small house here when I married him. Then six years ago, we moved into a larger house when we became parents. We’re happy. But sure WISH WE HAD SIDEWALKS.
- My fiancee and I have lived in Crown Hill for a year and two months now @ 95th & 5th. Before this she lived in Renton, while I lived in Kent/Des Moines. She grew up in Bellevue, while I was raised in Port Orchard.

- We live at 95th and Mary. We have lived here for 13 years. Before that we lived in Fremont (you don’t want the long list of previous places)!
- I’ve lived on Crown Hill 14 years. Lived in Shoreline before that, but before Shoreline had lived in Seattle my whole life.
- I’m a transplant from Minnesota with a little 10 year detour through the Bay Area before moving to Seattle. Nine years ago I bought my home in Crown Hill and I have to say I’ve loved the neighborhood ever since. I knew nothing about the CH area when I first arrived but I was delighted to find such friendly neighbors … felt just like Minnesota. In fact one of my neighbors has pretty much adopted me. They have helped me over the years haul in compost, build raised garden beds, trim those nasty tent caterpillars out of my trees (yuck), loaned me tools, and during Apple season, I often come home to find a big bowl of apples at my front door. When their kids were younger they would often come knocking at my door to see if they could play with my cats. How sweet. Crown Hill has been good to me and I’m here to stay.
- I have lived in Crown Hill since I bought my house in May 2007 – 2 years. I lived in Wallingford before moving to Crown Hill.
- 11 months. Capitol Hill
