Yoga Teacher Training Open House

Pacific Yoga 500-Hour* Teacher Training Open House

When: Friday, June 25, 2010, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Where: Taj Yoga in Crown Hill, 9250 14th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117 (old Crown Hill Elementary School)

Join us for a Pacific Yoga open house in Crown Hill where you can meet instructors, ask questions, and learn more about the curriculum and learning materials for our 500-hour teacher training program which begins January 28, 2011. Applications are accepted on a first-come basis. If you have any questions, please  email us  at info@pacificyoga.com.

Pacific Yoga’s RYT 500-Hour Teacher Training Program is open to all who wish to advance their knowledge and practice of yoga beyond a 200-hour certificate. If you have a 200-hour certificate from any school, or the equivalent experience, we invite you to embark on an integrated exploration of yoga with some of the Pacific Northwest’s most seasoned teachers.

* A 300-hour program when added to your 200-hour certificate or equivalent experience produces a 500-hour certificate.

Playscape Install, Crown Hill Center

Date for the playscape install is the weekend of July 10 and 11.  We’ll need at least 25 volunteers that weekend so please mark your calendar for helping out, then contact Small Faces to let them know you will be coming.  The $17,000 grant the project received from the City is a matching system.  All volunteer hours will contribute to making the $17K match.

Food, tools and  child care provided.  No experience necessary!  Contact Johnny at johnny@smallfaces.org

Crown Hill Project Playground Meeting, June 24th, 2010

This meeting is to discuss playground renewal efforts at the former Crown Hill Elementary School. Small Faces recently received a Dept. of Neighborhoods grant to work on acquiring a new play structure and other improvements including fencing, a walking path along 13th, and more!

Community involvement is encouraged!
