The fabulous 10th Annual Crown Hill Garage Sale is on from 9AM-3PM, Saturday, July 23rd this year! You won’t want to miss out on these sales. Lots of excellent merch on the purveyors tables, and plenty of refreshments as well.

Time to check out what’s in your garage and basement to go out for the 10th Annual Crown Hill Garage Sale! Great chance to simplify and clean out stuff you no longer need in your life! Remember, one person’s junk is another’s treasure! Organize with your neighbors for a multi-family sale or even a block sale! The more, the merrier. As always, young entrepreneurs of all ages are encouraged to sell lemonade, baked goodies to the thirsty and hungry sale cruisers.
This year’s sale is Saturday, July 23rd from 9-3. Signups are easy, just put in your information here: crownhillneighbors.org/gsale/gsinput.html. Sellers are encouraged to list individual sales on CraigsList and link to our online sale map as well. The more publicity, the more folks will come.
As we get more signups, we’ll populate the map here: crownhillneighbors.org/gsale and there will be printed maps and a mobile device friendly map on the day of sale as well. We’ll publicize the sale on CraigsList, NextDoor and other media.

9th Annual Crown Hill Neighborhood Garage and Yard Sale

Garage sales fill that need to turn one person’s castoff into another’s treasure. Whether it’s baby clothes your high schooler outgrew years ago and a young family could use, or that bike that clutters your basement and someone without a car could use, or …. You get the idea. Start rounding up the stuff. Talk to your neighbors about doing a multi-family blowout sale with BBQ and a really festive atmosphere. See if the kids are up to selling lemonade, cookies, etc. to contribute to their iPad fund.

Crown Hill Neighbors has been organizing the annual garage sale since 2007! We were one of the first in Seattle to publish an online map of all the sale locations – something much copied about town. It’s a lot of fun to cruise the sales and talk to your neighbors if you don’t have the time to put together a sale.
The 2014 edition of the Crown Hill Neighborhood Garage Sale is upon us.

We’ll have printed maps available at 9 AM at Crown Hill Center in the Green Box to the left of the steps at 9250 14th Ave NW. This is a great chance to walk or bike or drive (slowly please) through the neighborhood to check out what treasures Crown Hillers have for sale. If you’re a Crown Hiller, then even better because you get to interact with your neighbors. We’ve got a lot of young entrepreneurs who’ll be out there hawking lemonade and other refreshments to slake your thirst and sate your palate. A few sales are held as charity benefits, so be sure to drop by those. We expect there will be many free sales as well.

UPDATE: the 2013 sale is over. The 2014 Crown Hill Neighbors Garage Sale will be held on July 26th this year. Signups will open in the last week of June 2014.
