If you’re looking for the 2010 garage sale article, look here. Sorry for the confusion….

This article was the notice for our 2009 sale.

Thanks to all who have signed up and good luck.

Sign-ups are open for this year’s Crown Hill Neighborhood Garage Sale. You can sign up here. View the map and list of participating households here.  Don’t miss out on the opportunity! Lets fill the map with participating sales this year. Add your sale and buyers will come!

Calling all Crown Hill Neighbors to participate in our Third Annual  CHNA Garage Sale.  The sale will be held on Saturday, July 25th from 9 AM to 3 PM. About 50 households participated last year with loads of cool stuff. Great way to meet your neighbors.

Is your house overflowing with clothes, furniture, toys, appliances, etc which could find a home with one of your neighbors or garage sale cruisers? Want an excuse to buy those 70’s bell bottom pants? Remember, one household’s junk is another’s treasure! This is your chance to buy or sell, and a wonderful opportunity to mingle with the crowds. Last year’s sale had over 50 participating selling households.

Do your kids need an excuse to set up a lemonade stand? This is a great opportunity. Last year, we had lemonade, coffee, cookies and cupcakes.

It’s definitely time to start setting your merchandise aside, and plotting joint sales with neighbors so you can take turns visiting other sales.

Questions about the sale, please contact Jen: jen@crownhillneighbors.org or (206) 898-0191.

Neighborhood Matching Fund Grant Mary Ave North of 100th

ARC Dance Summer At The Center, July 15-17, 2010

From ARC Dance:

Arc Poster Summer At The Center

There will be five new world premiers by choreographers from Mark Morris Dance Group, Whim Whim, and PNB, as well as Marie Chong, Artistic Director of ARC, and Betsy Cooper, resident choreographer for ARC.  Our ten professional dancers have been working very hard to learn and perfect the dances.  The dances are fun and thought provoking; the dancers are exciting and strong.

The Bite of Seattle is happening at the Center Friday and Saturday.  This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy Seattle, get a bite to eat, and then settle in for an intimate night of dance.  The Leo K Theater is large enough to hold our company, and yet small enough for you to be up close and personal with the dancers.

You can find information about ARC, choreographer and dancer bios, and ticket purchase at our web site www.arcdance.org.  Don’t miss out on the best summer dance in Seattle!
